This coronavirus pandemic has shattered our community and forced a new “normal” into our lives. Our doors may be closed but our hearts remain open.
Feed 1,500 is a project with a singular mission; care for people. In that way, our restaurant mission hasn’t changed. We opened our restaurant to care for people like our neighbors, their friends and family, and the whole community. Covid-19 forced us to close our doors and distance ourselves from each other. However, we refuse to let it defeat us. We refuse to let social distancing define us. It’s our responsibility to continue to care for people to the best of our ability.
WE ARE A COMPANY WITH PURPOSE AND WE’RE NOT ALONE.
The Goal: We are committed to donating 1,500 meals to the everyday heroes at our local hospitals and to employ staff with full-time hours.
How it works: We’re asking for $10,000 in donations to go towards paying full-time staff to prep, cook, package, deliver meals, and purchase food and supplies. Each donation will energize two different relief streams. 100% of the donations will be used to support staff and donate meals.
When: We will begin accepting donations online on Tuesday, April 14, 2020. We’ve already begun cooking and donating meals. As of April 13, 2020 we’ve prepared and donated 250 meals to two different hospitals and our nearby police station.
How you can help: Make a donation! Also, you can share our social media posts. Continue to remind friends and family that there are people out there fighting for their community.
